Typescript petition addressed to "Hon. Louis Goldstein, Assembly Chamber, Albany, N.Y.," and signed by 31 men and women, all members of the 23rd Assembly District. The signatures, nearly all quite legible, include the following:
Celia Schreyer, Blanche R. Sch[ ]dling, Anna Lebowitz, Emily Levine, Mollie B. Semlourtz, William Stang, Frank Engelson, Dora Lefkowitz, Rebecca Schriner, Barnet Hoelman, Hannah Burbank, Tillie Silver, Riva Pekat, Mildred Appelbaum, Juliette Charnog, Chas. Gross, Louis Sapper, Isaac Saland, Max H. Akabas, Philip Berger, Cohn, Morris Kogel, A.I. Stark, Edward Rivlin, A. Ledes, James Weiner, Emanuel Foss, M. Siegel, Eli Pogul, Albirth Gottlief, and Sam Newberger.
A rare survival of a fragile document dating to the height of the suffrage movement.
